Strong68 absinthe is as its name suggests, strong.
Strong in thujon and strong in alcohol. By the way, 68% alcohol means that it’s 136 proof, which would easily make this possibly the most potent bottle of liquor in your cabinet. Now add to that its 35 milligrams of thujon and you have a very strong drink from all perspectives.
Its makers claim that this is somewhat of an “exclusive French” recipe but don’t get too excited about that because back in the heydays of French absinthe, this was pretty much how a good percentage of all absinthes were concocted.
So it definitely has the kick you want of that’s what your after but be forewarned that the high thujon content does bring with it a respectably bitter taste.
Great looking bottle though, “tall slim and green” and a great looking label too “naked fairly lady”! So its going to look good on the shelf. Another refreshing aspect of this one particular brand is that it contains no artificial additives.
“A rarity in liquors”. It’s made in Germany, has a nice green color and definite wormwood aroma, louches to a thick milky white and contains 16-17 oz per bottle.
