moulin-vert Moulin Vert also contains 68% alcohol by volume. Hence; it too will be 136 proof. Alandia must be credited for taking this one type of liquor “absinthe” and creating these distinctly different formulations that taste and smell so different from one another. This, in spite of their similarities.

This particular type is marketed as being made using a classic French recipe and by the way, there were and still are many. This one is said to have been formulated in the 19th century. “One of many”.

Even so, there can be no debating the fact that it does have a unique flavor that many, “and you may be one of them”, might prefer. It’s unique aroma and taste are credited to its unique blend of herbs such as hyssop, pontica, pontica and of course anise.

Be prepared for a more then subtle, “rather strong” flavor that is dominated by the high wormwood content, hyssop and anise. Those who like this particular blend swear by it but others claim that it is a bit too strong for their palate. This natural green absinthe is made in France, contains no artificial additives and louches to a opalescent greenish white.
